Milling operations
Surface milling is a type of machining that involves chip removal by rotating tools with multiple blades. This technology makes it possible to produce complex parts of non-standard shapes, create many technological holes, grooves, etc.
MILLING OPERATIONS ON CNC MACHINES
Today, milling operations are carried out on CNC machines, which allows you to position parts in any axis and process them at any angle (3D milling, milling cutting).
T-PACK is ready to provide milling services of any complexity – from the manufacture of a bolt to the production of the most complex moulds.
The large working area of the machines makes it possible to mill large workpieces.
The company’s specialists also provide milling and engraving services, which include the production of stamps and logos for your company.
MILLING OF METAL OF DIFFERENT DENSITIES
We use CNC machines to process various metals. The most popular are the following milling services:
Copper milling. Due to its high ductility, this metal lends itself well to machining with carbide sharp milling cutters. It is necessary to use a cutting fluid during operation.
Aluminium milling. This material is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, designed for a long service life and easy to process, which is why it is used in construction and industrial production. CNC machining of aluminium involves the use of a two- or three-way cutter, which eliminates the appearance of various defects and irregularities during the cutting process.
Brass milling. The metal is characterised by high viscosity, so for
brass milling, CNC machines use end mills with hard-alloy tips and a rough groove that does not clog with chips.
T-PACK specialists understand all the intricacies of processing various metals, so they carry out custom metal milling work according to customer drawings in the shortest possible time.
