A cold storage device is a cooling device that is a plastic bag filled with a substance with a high heat capacity. These devices are often used as the main cooling elements in cooler bags, car refrigerators, and thermal containers.
The cold accumulator is a 70 gram resealable plastic bag filled with a special cooling gel. The versatile cold accumulator can be used not only to cool food, but also to maintain a certain temperature inside thermal bags. One battery is designed for 1 litre of the bag’s volume and ensures a constant temperature of -19 to +8C.

Operation of cold storage batteries

It is quite easy to ‘charge’ the cold storage device by placing it in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator and waiting for it to freeze completely. The crystallisation time of the working medium directly depends on the type of filler and the size of the battery. After freezing, the device is placed in a special compartment of the isothermal bag, and the duration of useful operation depends on the type of battery and the performance characteristics of the insulating layer of the bag itself. It is considered the norm for a cold storage battery to maintain the desired temperature for 20 hours, but in practice this figure can vary in either direction, as it depends on the actual volume of the thermal bag, the heat capacity of the items in it and the initial temperature of the working body.

The battery is long-lasting and can be used an unlimited number of times, and is easy to use and store. It is indispensable if you are going on a long trip and need to keep all your food fresh and drinks cool, even on the hottest day.

It is very easy to use:

• Before use, place the cold storage battery in the freezer for 6-8 hours to allow it to freeze.
• Then place the battery either on the side or bottom of the bag and fill it with the food you need, then close the bag tightly.
• After use, simply remove the battery from the thermal bag, rinse it with water and pat dry.
• After that, you can put it away until the next time
